Welcome to the first "THUG-LIFE" user manual
This version of Thug-Life is 0.1 ALPHA as of July 19th 2002
We hope you don't mind testing our Mod. The reason we are releasing Thug-Life Alpha, is because we can! ;) and we need some feedback from users and server admin's about what we should add and change. This is a chance for you, the player, to give real input into what you want from an fps game!
"Bugs"
Yes the problems of bugs and non functioning weapons, models, and menu's etc.
Well there may be a few screws loose from the building of the game code, but we are working on it. You must also remember that this version is really the first multiplayer version out! Updates will flow at a breakneck speed once we get some of the basic player functions working and start you the graphics modeler at making player models and weapons. Then the door is open and we will boldly walk thru it! So below I have put together some console commands that may be of use if your stuck "Side Note" the player classes you see now will change to reflect those of Street Thugs & Inner City Police Officers.
As of yet some of the menu's are not working as good as we would like, so if you choose a team and can't change over to the team you want just type in the console window "choose team". This should bring up the choose team menu for you and if you don't like the class on the team you joined, just type in the console "choose class". This should bring the menu's up for you. Or if you know how, maybe bind a key. It's your choice.
I will be getting the website ready for those of you who choose to try our game! And play it once in awhile and if you need to talk to my team and report bugs, and to just build a nice little community for Thug-Life.
